How can Yoga help me?

The tools and practice of yoga can help bring you back to a more balanced state of being.

A place where you are centered, able to let go, and be more fully present.

A place where you have the ability to do what you want with less force.

 I believe that if we embody the principles of Yoga on the mat, we can embody them off the mat too.

You will become more confident and comfortable in your own skin, able to love and understand yourself better. In turn, you are able to offer that same confidence, love and understanding to others.

You will learn to breathe better, to move with greater strength and ease. To live life with less anxiety from a centered state of sustainable energy.

How do we work together?

I see the body and breath as a barometer; a way to assess the complex interplay between the physical, psychological and spiritual aspects of being human.

I notice compensation patterns (ways the body will move around any weaknesses) which may be contributing to physical imbalances and pain.

I understand how the nervous system can be a powerful catalyst for healing when it is in a relaxed state. And I know how to get you there.

I can help you gain control and coordination over your range of motion to become more versatile and agile. To gain strength that includes softness and ease of movement (think Spiderman vs Hulk).

As you move better and relax more easily, you will start to hear your symptoms as whispers wanting your attention, rather than debilitating screams!  It becomes easier to make adjustments that bring you back to your centre on a daily basis to live a life of inner and outer strength and peace.

How are the sessions delivered?

Sessions are delivered online or in person and are highly customised in terms of frequency and duration. The minimum commitment (after our first session) is 3 months. Sustainable and meaningful change requires practice over a period of time.
